quail eggs | 1 kg | soy sauce | 1 cup |
green chili pepper | 3 | water | 3 cup |
plum extract | 1/4 cup | ||
sugar | 4 S | ||
minced garlic | 1 S |
The Steps
Prepare the ingredients! I used ready-made boiled quail eggs. Prepare them however you like.

Rinse the dried quail eggs in running water and soak them in water for a while.

Next, add 1 cup of soy sauce to the prepared pot.

Add 3 cups of water.

Add 1/4 cup of plum extract.
If you don’t have plum extract, you can omit it.

Next add 4 spoonfuls of sugar.
If you like it sweet, you can add more.

I used green chili peppers to make it a little spicy.
If you are going to use chili peppers, add them later, because If you add them too quickly, they will become mushy.

Add 1 spoon of minced garlic.
You can also use whole garlics if you prefer.

Now put everything in and boil the soy sauce on high heat!

Once it boils, reduce the heat to medium, add the quail eggs, and simmer until they get a brownish pretty color.

Now they are complete and ready to be served!
